FlexiVet Training was founded by two Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarians, Dr Yvonne van der Veek and Dr Lucy Kirton, in 2018.

After working in Emergency practice for many years, as well as having experience in working in general practice, they both recognised the need for more training in Emergency Medicine. Emergency cases in general practice can be seen at irregular intervals and infrequently, and the cases can be very variable in their nature.

Due to these factors, dealing with emergency cases can be stressful and cause anxiety. FlexiVet Training is dedicated to providing general practitioners with Emergency Medicine knowledge, so that they can feel confident and have practical approach to any type of emergency.
